I see most of 3rd party problems being combination of weak hardware and small user base that's mostly not interested in those titles. Sure, PS360 are weaker, but they have enormous user base who will actually buy those games - if this was the case with WiiU, no matter the hardware, most, if not all, 3rd parties would support it.

This is main reason I think Nintendo went wrong in design of WiiU - if it was (technically speaking) true next-gen (let's say half the PS4, so around 7750 level GPU, quad-core AMD CPU and 4GB of RAM), putting any current/cross-gen game wouldn't be problem for any dev, and even with small user base they would be able to support WiiU without any significant effort.

So, in my opinion, neither of two reasons alone is enough to make 3rd parties react as they are currently reacting, but in combination I'd say it tips the scale for lot of them toward "not supporting".

how much would a console like that cost? im just curious if it would be in the same price range as the Wii U we have now.

It would cost about the same if they went for better innards instead of Gamepad. In that scenario (SuperWii), Gamepad is optional accessory whose only purpose is Off-TV Play (much like Vita and other possible peripherals will function with PS4).

Not really that surprising if true. I'm more curious on who the other nine are assuming that they are not ea studios.

I don't really expect GTA on Wii U, but I don't buy this, either. I doubt Yuke's has any say so at all about what platforms WWE comes to. They do the gruntwork for whichever publisher has the license, so whether or not they are interested in the Wii U would be immaterial.

lol at this sensationalism
ot, i would say theyve lost a potential consumer, me

if thats the way they rule their bussiness, well, i hope they dont go bankrupt anytime soon ;)

You really believe such nonsense rumors?

This is happening because Nintendo is not willing to pay in order to have the game. 3rd party publishers think nintendo consoles are worthless, because their games will sell like crap; so what nintendo needs to do is to pay them to get the games on the WiiU. Also nintendo needs to promote those games on their consoles so that WiiU owners buy the games. Having doing so, the games will sell nice, and will be worth the while for 3rd party publishers.

The 360 did the same thing, so that the 360 can have the games, and also M$ helped them a lot with the advertisement. The 360 was a nextgen console, but in comparison to the PS2 it performed like crap. One of this examples is Guitar Hero 2 for the 360. M$ payed for that, and that happened with lots of games. And because of that games began too sell, and that showed 3rd party developers the 360 was a viable platform. Since then M$ does not need to pay for games anymore.

Nintendo needs to pay now, so that they don't loose money later.

Pay to not lose money sounds a bit...senseless

And about the Gamepad thing i must say WiiU gamepad is its best thing as of now so erasing it from the ecuation would make WiiU even more irrelevant.

good keep that filth off of the system, it's past it's sell by date anyway

Just because it might not come to wii u, you consider it filth. So any game not coming to the wii U is trash then? It's far from it, just because you don't enjoy the franchise, doesn't mean other Nintendo gamers don't.
