Lol! Most of the DS sales are from America. 1,000 from Europe? Too funny. Too bad it is not close to 3 million behind the PS2.

US: DS is alive, PSP dead.

EU: PSP is alive, DS dead.

Basically.

PSP 50k! O_O

eu must be sony land if the psp has kicked back into a little life,360 got some increased weekly numbers now

PS3 is on fire.

PS3 is my least favorite console and probably always will be, but damn, the fact that it continues to sell despite the lack of new releases amazes me.. Do this many people still want a blu ray player?

I don't see how Luigi's Mansion sells so much. Bought the game, mainly to get my free downloadable Mario 3D Land, sold it right back weeks later ha.. The game is mediocre at best. Too slow paced and puzzley for my tastes.

Wii U is slowly starting to carve out its niche as the next Gamecube. (and Vita the next Gamegear haha). While I do believe the fall/winter releases like Smash, Mario Kart, Wii Fit, 3D Mario, etc will help somewhat, they can only do so much without third parties. Wii was able to sell on first parties alone because of the sheer strength of the games. They were phenomenons (phenomena?) I don't see a whole lot of Wii U games with that potential.

Well with the pricing, it being a blu ray player AND having such a deep gaming catalog with some great up coming releases....I mean why not? As for the rest of your post....can't speak on Luigi's Mansion seeing as I have never played it. But as for the Wii U unless it makes a HUGE turn around I agree with you 100% lol.

Just shows how far Vita has fallen, when Europe has now gone back to the PSP.

@ Pezus

Just because you are a genious, with photographic memory.... and commendable google search skillz.

did the vita get high enough to fall, all things vita are just too expensive hard to see it being anything other than for diehard fans the US seem to have gone off all things sony portable

is it for the pirates the psp eu love or just very cheapo-general question

PS3 now 50k behind 360.

PSP is alive!

Vita and WiiU terrible. Is this the lowest week for WiiU?

Edit: yeah, lowest WiiU week so far.

Good to know that the numbers are more reliable now.

What is causing the PSP to still sell decent?

Both Lego City games has been surprising me lately. Lego U is doing steadily and has hardly dropped and Lego 3DS is doing way better than I expected (I thought it would bomb).
I hope Lego U continues to do what it does.

Soul Sacrifice dropped as expected and those numbers were also expected for me. I think it's a decent for a game like that.

Bold: You know PS3 isn't selling based on its blu-ray capability. Buying a PS3 just for that would be idiotic, since there are cheaper blu-ray players out there. PS3 and 360 are both selling because of amazing game support to this day. The reason PS3 keeps selling more than the others though is that Sony is pretty much the only one of the big three that supports its systems with new games late in the generation and into next-generation AND they support areas outside of the major countries way more than the others.

The first year or two that was one of the main reasons for people to buy it. The fact that 360 can still manage close to 100 k with only 3rd party support the past year excluding Halo is a true testament in my eyes.
