That would break the game due to the Ds games being hacked to bits though. Infinite rare candies again, max IV pokemon being transferred.

I think they won't do it.

Maaaaan, getting a massive nerd boner for this game. I cannot get enough pokemon. Still need to find a used 3DS for this, KH and fire emblem.

So totally pumped! Region looks big (bigger than Unova at least), and the trailer is awesome!

Shhhhhh don't kill my buzz. I think there was also a CoroCoro scan that showed diagonal movement in a forest-like area.

They don't showcase the character moving in a 3-dimensional space which scares me. I hope it's not just up-and-down and side-to-side again.
I was going to wait for Z version but I'm getting way too hyped - I'll probably get Y version day one because of those screen shots



     
Games can and should tell stories and share ideas through their mechanics. This is the intrinsic element of the medium and this is how experiences should be crafted in video games. No company does this as well as Nintendo and their echoes from the past.

The towns look a bit lifeless but its still under development. The battles are looking much better though.
