@Tabsina: Fatal Frame, not Final Fantasy
I don´t think they bought the IP but if it´s true that´s cool because that is a great series.
Good for Nintendo, but Ive never heard of Fatal Frame before Soriku started raving about a series he has never played.
Thats good for The N(My new name for nintendo). Im definitely buying this game even though I never played the predecessors gt rated it I think 2nd on its list of scariest game series.
My wife's played FF but I haven't (an odd play against type in this household), so I'll be glad to check this out. Wonder if they'll release the past games in a Wii version, too?
that could be possibel but i dont think its true and if it was it isnt a bad move
@kingofwale: Believe it or not, some people enjoy playing games even if they don't sell millions and millions of copies. It's in any console maker's best interest to have a well rounded library. Who knows how well the 360 would be doing if so many didn't see it as just a sports and big splosions console.
Whether they just bought the right to Fatal Frame IV, or the whole franchise, it's interesting either way. It's an established franchise already, and probably didn't cost much for whatever exclusivity they got from the deal. I've always wanted to play Fatal Frame, but just never got around to purchasing one. I'll keep my eyes open for this one and hope it turns out well.
And while Nintendo's doing some spending, they might as well pick up Midway while they're at it. The way they're going, Midway might go the way of Acclaim in a few years. Besides, I'd like to play a motion control version of Root Beer Tapper. :)
