What I meant by Pokemon 2 is a game with similar gameplay and selling relatively well. The highest DQM games as of now is DQM1 for Gameboy, which sold over 2m. I don't think that Youkai 2 has a shot at 3m, 2m max.

The real question is if any Youkai game will be able to beat Layton 1 on a global scale.

It would be interesting to see how far YW will come. I mean, Inazuma and Danball Senki started good, too. And anime was popular. But now those franchises are dead - anime is finished and nobody interested in games, especially Danball Senki. Level 5 ripped them to death.
