In case anyone was interested, Emerald is actually the worst opening for a mainline Pokemon game with 644k and still ended up selling 2.2 million.

That's pretty interesting. Looks like it will fall amongst previous Kanto remakes, from that projection but also indicates minimal or no boost from "Go" players.

Yeah. Probably because its not exactly the same as previous entries.

That is true. I wasn't expecting it to open as well as a new gen but on the face of it, the numbers looked disappointing. On reflection though, if it opens to similar numbers as the other remakes/remasters then it will have done decently.

Strong day for PES 2019. Another point for Kingdom Hearts which is still better than nothing.

All the 3DS Pokemin duos (X/Y, OR/AS, S/M, US/UM) had first weeks in the 1.2-1.8 million range i believe.
