Hopefully, Media Create or Famitsu could release some early information about PS4 and 2DS hardware sales, and in between are Persona 5 figures.

I don't know if someone already posted it, but, Persona 5 sold 70% of its original shippment in day 1

And here are the numbers of previous sales of main-line Persona games

The order is from highest selling(life-time) to the lowest

[PS1] Persona {1996.09.20} — 201,147 / 391,556 [N/A]
[PS2] Persona 4 {2008.07.10} — 211,967 / 294,214 [89.67%]
[PS1] Persona 2: Innocent Sin {1999.06.24} — 170,577 / 274,798 [N/A]
[PS2] Persona 3 {2006.07.13} — 127,472 / 210,319 [87.61%]
[PS1] Persona 2: Eternal Punishment {2000.06.29} — 119,484 / 200,103 [N/A]

So, the best selling Persona game's launch was of 212k, the best life-time was 391k. Can Persona 5 outsell Persona 1's life-time sales in its first week ?

In the article they said that Sega might be expecting 500K of sales for the first month, 70% of the Original shippment were sold at day 1.
