Well I count Persona 5 as one of those big hitters and judging by the pre-orders it is performing just as predicted. P4G cemented the status of the franchise and P5 has everything going for it at the moment. Solid fanbase already exists, good word-of-mouth building hype and pretty much perfect launch timing. The final phase of pre-orders is just starting which is usually around the last 2-3 weeks where the marketing goes all-out. This last period will show whether a game has true hype going for it, for example Splatoon, MGSV, BO3. I believe Persona 5 will have this hype and do incredible numbers in the last weeks, for me it would be a suprise if it didn't. Media Create first week numbers should easily clear 300k on PS4 alone and break 400k quite easily in the long-run.
