There is the demo one week before the release of the game so it may get a last push then. There is also a PSVITA bundle although from what i understand it is very limited so i don't know how much it will help. But overall yeah, the success of this game will be determined by it's legs.

Let's see how Heroes 2 will do now. I guess pre-orders will start in Feb or March because we already know the release date and Jump will soon reveal the first actual info.

Looking at this, is it possible we'll see Pokken Tournament outsell Street Fighter V in Japan? Even with SF's decline in popularity over there, this still isn't something I thought would happen.

I'm not sure what to think of Street Fighter V. It will be hard to judge its pre-orders and more generally its retail sales considering how appealing Capcom made it to buy the game online. There's also like 4-5 different SKUs for the game and some have retail exclusive content so it's kind of a mess.
