Wow Splatoon has really be the first real surprise on these charts for a while. Never expected it to get near 100 points

And it will be easily over 100 points in its last day. I'm expecting between 110 and 140 points at the end, because the hype is huge in Japan.

Is there anyone living in Japan that can tell me why Splatoon is such a success in Japan ? Is it because of gameplay, design or massive advertisment ?

Well, 100 points is a lock now. My prediction is definitely too low.

I would never predict such a response for Splatoon.

Amazing how it goes beyond franchises like Mario, Pikmin and Xenoblade.
