Yokai did absolutely amazing. That was a nice surge of energy to the charts.

However... those MK8 numbers are extremely disappointing. We are settling for a ~200k opening now? Sad.

??? Its already confirmed day 1 is 50%-60% sell through, and i dont know wats disapointing about 426points... Well unless.... No.. wait? Oh yeah... No forget it! Well I'll tell you anyway, but im afraid you'll.... Should I just say it? I would, I could, But shouldn't.... Well since you convinced me.... 200k+ isnt sad..... And it'll do way more.

You need to find a way to lower the bar for mostly everything

Well Mario Kart isn't a loaded game release. Next week will be pretty strong too probably close to 100k on the low end and 150k on the high end

If you count western sales then Tales of Symphonia for the gamecube is without a doubt the best selling tales game worldwide, I believe it sold a million copies in the west, the only tales game that can challenge that number is tales of xillia

Well damn! That's awesome! My favorite Tales game overall, so I'm glad it did well. How does Xillia compare? I never got around to that one.

It did about 120k in the US and 700k in Japan, dont know about Europe or the rest of america

Why exactly is 426 points sad? Did it did way worse than other Mario Karts? It's not like it would be a fair comparison anyway, the other games have come out in the Holidays, afterall, and they would obviously gotten way better sells.

COMG guide to points: 1 point = Raging. 2 points = Beasting. 3 points = Tearing it up. 4 points = Berzerk. 7 points = Rampage. 12 points = Burst. 15 points = god mode. 20+ points = DIVIDING BY ZERO!!! 40+ points = Youkai (originally Pokemon).

-1 = Negabeasting. -5= NegaRampage. -10 = NegaBurst

wow. what a day fro 3Ds titles!

Switch!!!

I did some digging just for you guys (and for Tbone's chart).

MK7 weekly (Thursday release) - 621 pts

NSMBU weekly (Saturday release) - 138 pts

DQX weekly (Saturday release) - 35 pts (I think?)

Pikmin weekly (Saturday release) - 144 pts

SM3DW weekly (Thursday release) - 164 pts

All hope is not lost!

(Keep in mind, though, quite a few of those games released on a Saturday for some odd reason whereas MK8 released on a Thursday)
