Bit sad to see insecure 'fans' bring other users appreciation of Nintendo into this though.

If you said to me it was a ps3 game I could be tricked, I think the last of us holds a nice candle agains this.

but it is first wave software, not pushing the hardware at all (I think)

'Wow' is a bit of an exaggeration. It looks good, sure, but what game (that's actually had some budget and ambition) today doesn't? I don't see how it's leaps and bounds above what we currently have in the late 7th gen so I'm not as blown away as some of you.

But, it's a launch game, or launch window at least. So it get's props for that and it's a good indication of where we might be heading. Can't wait to see PS4 games (or any 8th gen game for that matter) that truly take advantage of the new tech!

I agree. Nothing here makes me WoW. Its not that big of a leap over what we already had.

The improvement will be mostly on frame-rate and special effects.

Doubt it. Most games will be ~30fps just like last gen.

I think he looks pretty kickass. He looks like a cocky smartass and that sounds more appealing than some stoic, mysterious guy. Personally, i wish they wouldn't have changed the new cole in InFamous 2 but the fans bitched about it too much and sucker punch caved in. I don't know about you, but I like my superheros/villains with some hair.

I mean what was wrong with this original model? I'll never know.
