What? That's the biggest gripe I have with the series...Modern Warfare 1 looked good in its time, but the graphics didn't improve very much over the time. The animations are plain outdated, the texture resolution is bad. I think locking the game at 60fps is more important than the graphic fidelity of the game, but stating it didn't sacrifice too much fidelity is really pushing it...

Maybe the fact that there is a new COD game every year the graphic leap isn't as apparent as other series that we only have 2-3 games this gen on. The framerate is smooth, controls are quick and responsive, and the games don't look bad. I'm not sure what you mean by bad animations. The gun reload animations look great infact in my opinion they look better than Battlefield 3's gun animations which look stiff and robotic. I grew stale of COD after MW2, I understand the hate, but I can't see how people can deny the fact that the COD games play and run smooth, and they're not bad looking as people make them out to be.
