Nope, both are discounted, though GOW much more than Gears. http://www.gamecrawler.co.uk/compare/gears-of-war-judgment-xbox-360/B00A66PAE4 |
Wrong.
The second Gears J is on sale on Amazon, tesco or Game, thee biggest biggest retailers, that is when its discounted, not from random stores nobody has ever heard of.

Shopto is well know, just because you never heard of it doesn't mean people don't use it. Also, Gears is discounted on Amazon. £35 is not full price.

£35 is standard new game price on Amazon.
Gears I've seen the odd place do £30 deals but most places it's still full or near full price.
GOW hell even game has it at £20 at this point.

You say it like Gears of War: Judgment is selling well and doesn't need a big price cut. It's more expensive than God of War: Ascension, sure, but it's doing terribly at its current slightly discounted price (~£30). Even when it has a cut to ~£20 it'll sell better but still poorly, all the hardcore Gears of War fans have already decided by now whether they want or don't want the game, they aren't waiting for a price cut for a game they don't want.
Even before GoW:A had a big price cut it still showed better legs in the UK than GeoW:J with much smaller % drops per week.

Shopto probably doesn't even have 1% merket share... their top selling game the last week was Soul Sacrifitce and it entered the charts at 26.
Amazon, Tesco and Game have the biggest market share, and Gears is still full price, therefore most of the sales since launch have been at full price.

source or use the word "wrong" correctly.

I hope you realise that ''legs'' this late in the generation is redundant. What matters is what the game sells in its first month or for big games, Its first week alone.
GOWA selling a few thousand more units than GOWJ, on average 30 - 40% of its retail price is no achievement...
To say Gears is doing terribly is baselss. Saying UEFA cup rating are terrible compared to World cup rating doesn't make sense now does it. Gears J is a spin off, from a different developer (a B rate develoer at that) with a different lead character/s. It is doing fine for what it is... unless MS announce a statement about GOWJ eing a disappointment which I can guarantee Sony will eventually say in regards to GOWA.
