We have absolutely zero clue what has been green lit and what announced games look like aside from X and Yarn Yoshi

Which is a horrible, horrible mistake by Nintendo. People can't get excited about games they haven't seen and don't know about. They should have already shown us Bayonetta 2 footage, more on Yarn Yoshi and X, maybe unveiled a few new secret ones while saving others for E3. Their silence makes it seem like they have nothing, and stops people getting excited.

It actually has the opposite affect on me. Not knowing allows my imagination to run wild, and while that could set me up for disappointment, I usually don't let it. I don't ever really imagine graphical specifics as much as...well....what Nintendo does when they make games, the gameplay. I am far more excited thinking about what they will do with the gamepad and Mario considering how great Galaxy was (imo) than what it will look like. Same goes for Zelda and Aonuma saying they would be looking at rethinking some of the conventions of the series such as completing dungeons in a certain order. That makes me think of the original and 2 (I liked it...don't judge me, haha) and that has me pumped. The same kind of thing goes for PS4, I am far more excited for the potential of the system than anything that was shown at the reveal. Hopefully their E3 consists of more than Drive Club, KZ, Knack, FF whatever (unless it's Versus), and PS3 games. If Deep Down turns out to be an extreme version of Dragon's Dogma, count me in closer to launch than anticipated.
I've got next to nothing for the neXtBox though....MS franchises have really been losing my interest as the years go on so they will have to wow me. We also don't know hardly anything for sure about it....other than requiring Kinect to function which is a big turn off for me.
However, I do agree that they could have at least shown a teaser...even a static image of Mario...white background, just his model. I think that's why X was so exciting for people...it showed gameplay. I would have settled for Wind Waker in motion rather than screens including one of a situation that never happens in the game (which could even mean it won't look exactly like those screens). A vague screenshot of Retro's project would have been better than what we got too. I'm still holding out for a post-investor meeting Nintendo Direct that discusses things like W101 since it is rumored to release in Germany on June 6 and it still officially a Q2 game. I'd also like to hear more about their Virtual Console release plan (large trickle and all that
) and maybe a few other things even if they don't appeal to me ( WiiFit, Wii U Party etc). We'll see though.
