By big I'm thinking above 5m sold.

So either something by Naughty Dog or Poliphony Digital.

On that note, I think the game will be there with ~12 Months.

Killzone could sell like the first Resistance sold on PS3, wich was over 4 million. That's pretty big. Also GT6 is probably going to launch on PS3 this fall, ican see them breaking habbit and release a PS4 ''high definition'' version at the same time.

I'm talking BIG games, 5 million is big, 2 million is not.

KZ could hit 5 million this time.  Think about the Resistance scenario.  It had pretty much everything going against it considering it was made by a dev known for platformers and it didn't really stand out against other shooters.  It was also a new IP with 0 fanbase.  KZ on the other hand has a 2.5m install base and that's what the studio is known for.  We've also never had a KZ close to launch.  KZ2 was late to the party in 09 and KZ1 was in what?...04?  So looking at how Resistance got 4m sales for being the big shooter on PS3 I think KZ could easily do 5 lifetime.

I think we're going to be very surprised by PS4 game sales.

it is funny how I think quite the opposite for this upcoming gen. I think it is going to be the least successful gen ever.

I think it will be less successful than this gen, but comparable.

PS4 will gather market share from Nintendo and MS this generation due to Nintendo releasing a console no one wants and MS not having a year head start.

Probably Gran Turismo 6 or Final Fantasy XV (if exclusive). Whatever Naughty Dog comes up with next could have a decent shot too.

thank you!  People are underestimating what a big title a launch FPS that shows off the system from an established franchise can do.  I mean Resistance did 4m.  KZ can easily top that.  I also hope being close to launch this time helps Infamous out as it's a fantastic series (though I guess 2 did fine considering sony bought SP after it).

If KZ multiplayer is changed for the better to be more revolutionary it will sell major. KZ's story is great but needs to be longer and the multiplayer needs to more customizable and player friendly.
