I think if Pikmin 3 doesn't come out by E3 the title will quickly change to How Nintendo pissed me off for the millionth time.
http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/profile/92109/nintendopie/ Nintendopie Was obviously right and I was obviously wrong. I will forever be a lesser being than them. (6/16/13)
I always just played video games lol, platforms didn't matter too much to me if the games are good. I did play through Galaxy and Galaxy 2 with smiles on my face about 80-90% of the time so yeah, they are very good games. A lot of people don't know what they are missing by staying single platform since that really narrows their gaming vision.

i'm 100 % sure pikmin will release before e3.
Nintendo games are simply... better. Just need to hurry up and get some out. >:(
I always loved Nintendo, I will admit I didn't play many N64 games, and didn't even buy a GameCube, but I always was at least a fan of Nintendo portables. Wii kind of made me get a Nintendo home console again.
I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.
Nintendo is a company that things of the games and the fun first. They dont go around having tech wars with the other hardware providers. Games must evolve the tech on this business. Back then you wanted a new system because you couldnt make a sizeable 3D world. It was a joy to dream of such games and then see them delivered.
Nowadays were suppose to take that things like 60fps and a huge resolution will make my game more fun to play. No, it doesnt. Its ridiculous and its why gamers arent running out to buy new consoles (aside from early adopters).
I love the SEGA of old that doesnt exist anymore. Nintendo is a company that was paralel to the SEGA of old, even though never quite as good as SEGA for me. Nowadays, the excellent SEGA doesnt exist anymore. Sony is meh, still struggling to build a software image and Microsoft is outright disgusting. That picture makes Nintendo look alot better than they did in the past for me.
I'm similar. While I never abandoned Nintendo, I was thinking about only owning a small handful of Wii games and beating it on my friends borrowed system. I bought Metroid Prime 3 and Smash Bros. not long after they released, and borrowed Mario Kart and Wii Sports. However when I brought my friends Wii home, and played some games with my gf and on my own, I really started to enjoy myself.
Eventually my PS3 broke, and I convinced myself that it would be smarter to buy a Wii and get a PS3 when the price went down (or if PS4 were BC, to get that). Anyway, a little after I bought my Wii, Project Rainfall happened, and I saw XenoBlade and Last Story release. Now I'm very glad I bought a Wii, even there there are only a dozen good games on the system, those dozen games really do justify the purchase.
Wii made me a different type of gamer, I now have plans to own all consoles, even if there are only a couple games on the system which I like. I bought a PSP last year to play the exclusives I didn't play on that, and again, I'm super happy. Lunar is a really fun game, and I would have missed out on it entirely if I didn't own a PSP.

It's great to own all the consoles, every manufacterer has a few good games, and even if it's just a couple games, you can always get the system at the end of its life for $100 or so. Got my PSP for $90, my Dreamcast (when it was still in production) for $100, and for those who don't own a Wii/360, they sell them for $100/$130 new, and PS3 will come down in price.
Now I plan to get a Saturn because then I will own every Nintendo/Sega/Sony/MS console (except the GameGear/Virtual Boy, but I don't want those bricks), or at least be able to play the games via BC.
And this is awesome because unlike most people here, I will get to enjoy Halo, Zelda, and Gran Turismo, and not have to pick and choose.

Could have sworn you were talking about Blizzard in the late 90s and 2000s. Shame that I am no longer interested in Blizzard. SC2 turned me off and for some reason and I wasn't hyped at all for D3. Let us hope Nintendo doesn't go down the Blizzard path for me.

@bold. You'd be surprised how many seeming console-A-B-C-only people actually own all consoles and play all the games.
