I fexecuted properly Ryse could become something that actually uses mechanics not seen recent games, at least I sure hope so because action games need something new really bad right now and I'm pretty sure Valve hates Ms right now so a Zombie game from them? I doubt it.

The original forza series is Always a solid million hitter whether it launces on launch or 5 years down the road.

I bet you money would change Valves mind.

I doubt money has anything to do with it at this point. Valve has praised Sony for opening up their online and basically appologized about their false words against Sony. Microsofts edge with valve is gone and steam even signs in PSN user.

Valve is all hot air at this point towards Sony. Signing in PSN users doesnt compare to Orange Box superiority, Left for Dead 1/2, and Portal: Still Alive on XBLA.

No offense but they are the ones that admitted to their words and have fared better on the PS3 in terms of openness than with Microsoft. I think you want to control the damage Microsoft has created for themselves. Indy devs are even flocking to Sony so it kind of makes sense. They just understand gaming sensibiity more. Where Microsoft shines with games is they know who to buy games from so lets hope this works again (including with their new studios created). Perhaps they'll find another partnership to be exclusive in a near deceptive manner. Microsoft understands multimedia OS better and thats where they will both shine. As for Left4Dead if Microsoft hadn't had such a deceptive image that they were  that game would've been multiplat but now that Valve knows the truth that Microsoft isnt as open to online growth as Valve.

Im not a big fan with this big "Kinect" focus Microsoft is giving their next console...God I want motion controls to just go sit in a corner and take a time out for a couple of years

EDIT: and Fuck Forza, Halo, Gears...dear God MS I WANT SOMETHING NEW FROM YOU....Im still bitter that MS wasn't smart enough to buy Bioware when they could have...

Super wired comment since it only metioned Forza and that may acutally is PGR

Just saying, talk is cheap. Right now, Playstation has a giant goose egg to show for their partnership with Valve

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Next-generation Xbox launch titles include 'Ryse' and a new 'Forza'

Microsoft is working on a number of launch titles for its new Xbox console. One of the first games to launch on the next Xbox will be Ryse, according to multiple sources familiar with Microsoft's Xbox plans. Microsoft originally unveiled Ryse at E3 2011, promising an exclusive Xbox 360 release with Kinect functionality. A release has never materialized for Xbox 360 and the company has remained fairly silent about the title's progress, noting that it was still in development in mid-2012 and again earlier this year. The Verge understands that Microsoft has been rewriting the game to take advantage of its next-generation console, due later this year.

We're told Ryse is designed to be Microsoft's new Gears of War / Halo mega launch title. It's set in the roman empire period and uses deep Kinect integration to allow a player to slash and kick at enemies. We understand that Ryse will take advantage of the new body tracking improvements in the next Kinect sensor. Ryse is part of four major launch titles for the next-generation Xbox. Sources tell us that a new Forza title with "super life-like" graphics will also be made available at launch, alongside a zombie game and a family game set on an island with Pixar movie-style graphics. We're told that the family game will utilize Kinect to scan a body and generate a virtual character in the game.

We understand that these four titles are a small selection of the launch titles for the next-generation Xbox. Third-party support is said to be strong in the first-person-shooter genre. Microsoft is also working on some improvements to Xbox Live, including a switch to currency over the Microsoft Points system. Microsoft is expected to hold a special Xbox event in May, ahead of a full unveiling at E3 in June.
