hasonap said: I fexecuted properly Ryse could become something that actually uses mechanics not seen recent games, at least I sure hope so because action games need something new really bad right now and I'm pretty sure Valve hates Ms right now so a Zombie game from them? I doubt it.
The original forza series is Always a solid million hitter whether it launces on launch or 5 years down the road. |
I bet you money would change Valves mind.
|
I doubt money has anything to do with it at this point. Valve has praised Sony for opening up their online and basically appologized about their false words against Sony. Microsofts edge with valve is gone and steam even signs in PSN user.
|
Well there you have it folks. PSN signs you into Steam. Valve will never work with Microsoft again.
|
I never said that they werent working with Microsoft but they've been vocal about this dislike of Windows 8 and Microsofts closed system that they are so afraid to open up on Xbox Live. Sonys willingness to work with Steam and keep an open mind to how to run online has changed their minds about them, thats all. Indy devs have stepped back from Microsoft and have been coming to Sony because Sony treats them better, plain and simple. Microsoft can only bullshit so long and you can defend them all you want but don't be surprised if next gen Sony has more indy games coverage exclusively on the PS4.

Come on man don't jump to conclusions which have no base - MB that is
I agree with what Stage says and I hope MS opens up to the indie developers more and more, after all XNA and most importantly Arcade has had some incredible games coming out from it. But I do not want Steam on my Xbox, heck the main reason I own a Xbox is because every freaking PC game has Steam it's a good damn monopoly over there(starting to loosen up by origin).
Sure there is some good things with Steam but I really can't see how it is miles better than other services including origin, XLIVE, PSN
