Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nintendo Fiscal Earnings - 70 Million Profit Year-End, Q4 - Loss (70 Million)

I think the price cut will happen exactly the same way it happened with the 3DS. It will happen when the Zelda remake hits the floor followed by 3D Mario and Mario Kart to create some momentum.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

Nintendo lost money as a company - over 350 million

However, Nintendo as a whole, made money because of favourable currency exchanges which resulted in a net profit of 70 million.

It had a great run, and will forever be the pinnacle of handheld sales. That "3rd pillar" became the best selling handheld of all time, who knew?

150 million HW and the greatest handheld tie ratio in history. Beast.

Sad, but it's time. It lived a good long life, and now it's time for it to step aside and let the 3DS have the stage to itself.
