Just about everything that used polygons looks terrible on PS1. I play all my games with an emulator (looks awesome), so my eyes don't bleed.

PS1 polygons are awful, as everyone has said. And 3D games lack the crisp gameplay of the earlier 2D games to hold up in that area.

I had a moment of nostalgia there, for a moment, reading someone mentioning the N64 fog. I remember thinking it looked so cool and mysterious, lol.

Yes there were games where it "helped" (I remember some areas in OOT where it looked good) but I also think a racing game looks aweful with this fog.

It has to be either PSX or Saturn.
While N64 games run as bad as those consoles games, N64 had all that modern texture filtering and mapping effects that make them appear to be less dated.
PSXSaturn games look good but really raw.

Are people forgetting the Atari syste, and the Comodore 64. I mean it was before I was born but watching some AVGN episodes I gotta say those systems are garbage

easily playstation and saturn, those 3d games of that gen look and feel so horrible.

Atari Jaguar:

was just mentioning the worst of the poll and would also not mention consoles which sold only few 100k units because it's not really worth to talk about but to be honest, i don't even really know much about the jaguar. was it primarily a 3d or 2d console? (i mean, snes had also games like vortex but it still aged better as whole console). if 3d and all the games looked like that then yes, jaguar is even worse, if it was primarily a 2d console like snes i think that console should have aged better.

Yea, all the early 3D systems like the PSX, N64, 32X, Amiga CD32, 3DO, and especially the Jaguar have all aged horribly.

2D games on the Saturn still looks absolutely brilliant though.
Pre-Atari2600 home consoles like the Fairchild Channel F have also aged terribly.

Jaguar was said to be the first 64-bit-machine and the hardware wasn't *that* bad but it was bad when it came to 3d. There was even a 3d-fighter (fight for life) which looked really bad ;) But yes, the system never had any relevance.
