Very surprised by Wii U EU figures. I don't believe them.

Awaiting NPD.

NPD won't tell you anything about numbers in Europe. Not this week in America either, for that matter.

Regarding Vita, well, WiiU increased the week before last in Japan for seemingly no reason. Just fluctuation.

It's 30th March, why wouldn't it be included? And they're two separate statements which aren't related, hence they're on different lines. Of course I know NPD is US only, silly! I've been following them since 2009!

But still, doesn't explain sales in EU now, does it? We shall wait for shipment figures for that!

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

I've seen that horrible Music video ad up on youtube and it made me wanna puke.

No wonder the game bombed.

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/profile/92109/nintendopie/ Nintendopie  Was obviously right and I was obviously wrong. I will forever be a lesser being than them. (6/16/13)

PS3/360 still have very impressive sales for what are frankly ancient systems by console standards.

3DS still selling well in Japan, but I'd say underperforming in NA/PAL.

WiiU numbers are up! I'm surprised. Apparently on the strength of Lego City as I don't see MH3U on the list. Still very low overall but at least is should finish the quarter a smidge over PS3's sales from it's launch and save some face.

That was all last week.

??

WiiU's sales are up over last week's boost (58,378) which is surprising as I expected sales to immediately drop back to 30-40k range.  The boost is all Japan (did some new game launch?!?   But very good hold in NA.   PAL region just doesn't like WiiU it seems.

Dragon Quest X
Game & Wario

DQX only boosted WiiU by a measly 12k?   OUCH!   I know the Wii version's been out forever and it's subscribtion, blah, blah, but DQ is still one of the biggest/best selling franchises in Japan.   I expected better than that.  I'd have hoped for 50k (jp) for at least a week.  Also not a good sign for DQX....

The games reviews did not help either

If you haven't, Id suggest the Japan thread for this week. Should explain a few things and you can see reaction as well.

It was out for only one day. What do you expect?

Every week we see the "Vita will drop a lot now this week and be bad again", never happens........ Where are you guys this week?

Whoops, for some reason I thought we were looking at early April numbers already. Must be because the numbers come so late now.

I'd rather wait for Nintendo hardware tracking figures

Understandable. And the tracking figures are coming in a couple weeks, right? Not long to wait!

Two days, like almost every other game. And yet the sales next week will be much lower.

What? I thought it was one day.
