Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Which third party dev treated core Wii gamers the best?

Whoever released little kings story did(in my mind anyways) that game was absolutely amazing, and the ending blew me away. Definitely one of the most under appreciated games of last generation(wii,360,ps3)

They went bankrupt.

I am a very late comer as far as the Wii/Wii U go.

Activision and THQ did port a lot of games over to the Wii. Capcom had some of the better games/exclusives, however, if Capcom were to be the true supporter of the Wii, why no Street Fighter?

Fast forward to the Wii U, Activision has a few games for the Wii U, but no DLC on Call of Duty Black Ops II, a big nono. Injustice Gods among Us has no DLC for the Wii U. EA's Mass Effect 3 has limited DLC compared to PS3 and Xbox 360. And Ubisoft, big negative not releasing Rayman Legends for the Wii U, even if it wasen't an exclusive, give the Wii U people early access. Sure like all systems, you guys come hard early on, doesn't mean your games are that good.

EA also does not want to port Battlefield 4 to the Wii U, which could bring some awesome exclusive features to the system, map on the gamepad, call in killstreaks using a button, or, quite possibly follow someone around, lots of missed opportunities.

If I were to choose a third party that supports the Wii U the best, it would have to be Capcom because they have stayed loyal with Monster Hunter Ultimate 3. A port of Street Fighter X Tekken with everything unlocked would be sweet, as would a version of Ninja Gaiden Razor's Edge, for Resident Evil 6, a more polished detailed version of the game.

Problem is, even with an updated system, developers are lazy with the new console.

This game is also released on the Vita.   Very cool porting it to a handheld.

Sega did a pretty good job. They made games specifically for the Wii (Mad World), did cross overs with Nintendo (Mario and Sonic At the Olympics) and their ports weren't half-assed (Sonic and Sega Allstars Racing).

EA. Kresnik has lead me to the light.

Surprised nobody has mentioned Treyarch yet; what other dev brought Wii owners 5 big-budget "core"* games?

*Yeah, COD's pretty casual as FPS games go, but it's no Just Dance.

In the beginning of the console life span it was Ubisoft, but at the end it was Capcom.
