Well, he is definitively upset... It's not a good idea to discuss how a console still not announced will perform with so much information lacking at this point. The PS4 "success" talk it's because its specs were well received by the tech public and devs and Sony fans are seeing a lot of these decisions as the correct ones, specially compared with the PS3.
By now, we can make some reasonable predictions about PS4 (not precise yet, we are lacking some crucial data like the price), better ones about Wii U (since it is already in the market) and even compare both to try do predict who will win. But Nextbox still can't be considered because we don't have anything about it. Actually, we can't even confirm this name by now. It could even not be named "XBox" at all, MS could put another name on it (99% unlikely, but it's just to prove my point that we can't confirm anything on it).
@Conegamer: That's a bit harsh, looking at current gen is pretty clear that all 3 consoles will end more than half of the PS2 total. And PS3 was a total disaster at launch, so it's very unlikely that all 3 next gen will do worser than it did. At least 2 of them will succed when trying to reach that number, unless one of the consoles pull a "PS2" trick and crush everyone.
