They will be fine. One game is not going to kill them. Fuse could turn out to be great and word of mouth might make it a sleeper hit. Who knows.

Even if it does lose them money they can write it off and use everything they learned from their first multiplatform game to make sure their next one goes more smoothly. They probably already have their next multiplatform game started to some extend and slating as a next gen game.

You're being incredibly optimistic about this game's, and company's, chances. Weird. Are you a big Insomniac fan?

I'm not a big Insomniac fan. But I do like some of there games, especialy their earlier ones. Disrupter was my first FPS on the Playstation and I thought it was pretty cool. I also liked the Spyro and Ratchet games, but I eventualy lost track of them. I prefer the Resistance games to Killzone games, but neither are favorites of mine. Over all I think Insomniac is full of tallent and I trust them to make at least a good game with Fuse. Will it be truely great? We wills ee. I just doubt it will suck.

I am generaly optimistic about all games that interest me. Fuse interestes me. The world, weapons, and characters seem cool. Most people who rag on Fuse seem to all want it to be a cartoony comedy shooter. That could have been good too, but I never judge games by what they could or should have been. I judge games by what they are. Nothing about Fuse looks bad, so if the reviews are decent and it has a real campaign worth playing through I'll jump in.

I agree with kain - I dont necessarily think the game is a failure yet. But they really need to have innovations for the game to do well and I dont get a real sense of that. Still their stories tend to be very good and I think the game will be >80 on metacritic.

With what to do if Fuse doesnt do well, then the best place for them would probably be back with sony.

It looked interesting around 1 year ago, but then they changed it...Meh.

Take my love, take my land..

back to Sony to pump me out another Quality Resistance and Ratchet & Clank Title for the PS4. All we need is 1 of each and then they can work on something new. The sales will do them a lot better if Sony prices the PS4 right.

we really need that $399 price tag

This is pretty much what happened with Ninja Theory

Well, it has more hype then their facebook game

“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”

Who knows, but I'll probably pick Fuse up later. It doesn't scream 'buy me', yet, so I probably won't get it day 1. However, it looks interesting enough to keep me and my friends playing. That merits a purchase, in my opinion.

These guys have languished over the years though. As much as I like them, I'd rather Sony not 'buy' them as some people have been suggesting - unless they shape up of course.

Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS

Fuse is going to be just another bomb for EA this year. I doubt its going to damage Insomniac, even if the last Resistance and Ratchet games were not the best the series had to offer.

Expand their mobile division; shut down North Carolina studio; make a Ratchet game for PS4 and then see where things go from there.

Get out of EA as fast as possible when your done they'll leave you to dry

Bet with gooch_destroyer, he wins if FFX and FFX-2 will be at $40 each for the vita. I win if it dont

Exclusivity sells, so possibly thier. otherwise they go indie or find a new publisher. from what i heard EA have ruined the game and forced changes
