Forums - Gaming - Battlefield 4 leaked screens? WOW

looks great...but does it matter? Really? Is this game any more fun by looking better than BF3 if its the same game?

Not impressed with those screenshots, bring on the trailer anyway EA.

Good looking for sure. But forced Origin use means no purchase for me.

looks good. but not buying.

Just say no to EA.

i'm with you on that. I used to really push for battlefield too. Kind of sad that EA has taken this route.

I'll wait for the video, i'm not seeing anything that impressive.

I think some of you guys should play Battlefield 3 first.

- awesome pic

Those BF4 images show how little graphics have been improved on "next-gen".

you do realize that PC doesnt have generations right?

Unless thats the console version it doesn't count. It like comparing doom 3 on high settings to an Xbox360 launch title. Very little difference obviously. Generations are for consoles.

Still, games do have generations. BF3 is a last gen game that happens to have a PC release. I think it's fair to put the PC version in comparison here, since it is still a last-gen vs current-gen comparison.

BF3 was heavlily optimised for PC. A game which "just happens to havea PC release" would be Call of Duty. PC has always been the main platform for Battlefield. hence why there were huge difference between the PC and console versions in the past. P.S.  this game is still coming out for ps3/360.

Coming to PS3/360 doesn't deny the fact that it is still coming to PS4, therefore, it's also a current-gen game. I agree with the other things you said, though.

This is where we are getting into. Looks stunning, can't wait for the video's reveal.

Definitely very impressive especially if its running at 1080p 60FPS on the PS4.
Not sure if buying though. There's the fact that this is an EA game then there's the fact I'm not very into shooters at the moment.

We've been getting next-gen downports for years now. Just because a game is also on current gen consoles, it doesn't mean the game isn't next-gen...I assure you the PS3/360 version of BF4 will have huge compromises in all areas.
