He means the graphics in this pic are so bad that it looks like running on a PS1 which is true (ok, mip mapping wasn't possible on PS1, but still...).

It doesn't look bad. It just uses sprites and stuff. Doesn't make the game look horrid. It'd be like including Disgaea on this list.

One last thing:

Not clueless at all. I'm aware its meant to look retro, and that HD alone puts it out of PS1's reach, but the sprites are 5th gen calibur, geometry is block as hell, and the textures are hideously low res. I wasn't being technologically literal, but at a glance it really can be mistaken for an up-rez'd PS1 game.
