Around the Network

New IP from Epic incoming?

Well, that was pretty.

I will try to find more info but I don't know what to say about this little teaser.

Edit - Remebered me the old Alien movies lol

Well it was certainly... grey.

I know, I know. I'm terrible for being "that guy". But it was pretty darn grey...

no you're right I'd rather see the full color pallet used.  KZ just learned to.

Maybe is just that part... and I live the colors in Killzone 2.

I think its supposed to be a tech demo, or at least thats what geoff kiely said. They'll debut it on friday.

Its funny even though we've had the ps4 reveal we still seen virtually seen almost zero 3rd party next gen title. Nothing made for next gen and next gen only.

Heh, I was just about to type that up as well. Shadow Fall is a great example of a game with great art direction and fantastic, vibrant settings despite being rooted in realism.

But with that said, it's only six second of footage of a guy in a tunnel. Technically it was pretty neat... so there's that. ^_^;

it really depends what the purpose of this game/demo is. i mean, if it's a game to be super scary or whatever i don't think it should look like shadowfall. the alien movies as example are also very dark and grey and it would just not work to have funny colors everywhere.

killzone shadowfall looks awesome but i wouldn't be scared in this game. i wouldn't be like "ohh damn what the fuck is around this corner", more like "nice some more guys to shoot at"

and the scene is very dark, you know what happens with colors in the dark.
