Are you not reserving a Media Create post today? :o

Vita and Soul Sacrifice both lower than I had hoped for. Shame. Will scan through the rest in a second.

Well, at least Kingdom Hearts beat Sword Art.  That's something.  Dynasty Warriors seems to be holding rather well, too.

Other than that, not too much to get me excited this week!  PS3 steady but down; PSP steady but down; 3DS up (presumably due to less Vita competition + Robot Wars).

Wii-U is slipping fast, though.  Looks like it may fall below 8k before Dragon Quest hits.

4gamer was late. ^^

and someone didn't wait for my 2nd post.

I think Vita will normalize around the 15k-18k/week range. It's still in its honeymoon phase from the price drop/game releases.

Soul Sacrifice is obviously no Monster Hunter.

No, it isn't but look at the first PSP Monster Hunter and how it sold its first 10 weeks.

Week EndingWeekWeeklyChangeTotal

17th December 2005 3 32,566 -45.8% 215,602

04th February 2006 10 19,349 -1.6% 423,044

Soul Sacrifice is performing worse, but consider the fact that Monster Hunter was made popular by the PS2 games. For a new IP, Soul Sacrifice is selling well and if it can reach at least 500k lifetime, that would be amazing.

Wii selling under 10k till a E3 confirmed. maybe the week of Dragon Quest X it'll reach 22k?

I would say 30k+ for DQX week.

They'll probably have Pikmin 3 in May.

Doesn't look like Soul Sacrifice will even sniff 300k IMO. It doesn't have legs.

There's a 10k difference for 3DS between the Famitsu and Media Create charts?
Vita sales are decent as long as it doesn't go under 20k.
Wii U sales are rubbish, it still hasn't stopped falling.
Animal Crossing is the only impressive software in the chart as it's been there for months.

Yes Vita and SS lower than my expectation. Myaby vita will settle around 20k? that should be ok no?

No, that wouldn't be ok.

Hopefully Vita doesn't drop off much further! Soul Sacrifice drop off is within expectations and around the same as the other big PSV releases. Hopefully this one has legs.

Also with this weeks numbers, Vita has officially surpassed PS3 sales this year.(so far)
Vita is actually the 2nd best selling console this year in Japan only behind the 3DS. It really shows how bad the market is doing right now if a portable which was considered dead only 3 weeks ago is outselling everything else out there.

Soul Sacrifice is pretty much done probably after this week, looks to be dropping like a rock.

Vita sales will drop further.

Japanese market outside of the 3DS is horrible. Even Wii U is only like 60k behind the Vita for YTD despite no releases.

Actually in terms of week 2 drop off, Soul Sacrifice is performing better than Persona 4 and Hatsuke Miku. It's not done it will go on to at least double its current sales.

I just noticed that AC has outsol Mario Kart and Super Mario Bros on 3DS. Wow.
You hear that Nintendo? People actually care about games if they don't have Mario in them. No, Luigi isn't the solution to the problem.

Pretty decent numbers for Vita. The next few weeks will be interesting to see where it settles. Espeically once games start coming for 3DS again.

Hm...Animal Crossing starting to fall slightly. A bit saturated now?

I did NOT expect such a huge drop for SS. Will be interesting to see the Vita sales during the coming weeks.

Must see how much DQX will affect the WiiU sales. Game and Wario won't do anything. Pikmin needs to come out soon.

Now just to wait for Luigi.

http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/profile/92109/nintendopie/ Nintendopie  Was obviously right and I was obviously wrong. I will forever be a lesser being than them. (6/16/13)
