I basically feel this exactly, but its hard to express this without getting a ban. As you can see...

Perhaps it needed a little more sugar coating.


My fake counter theory to that has always been that Sony fans have a higher percentage of literacy among them.  I mean that could also explain the durth of Sony fans you see on the internet couldn't it?  That less MS fans can read and write.

disclaimer: surprisingly I have to say this, but the above is not actually my thoughts the matter.  It's a fake theory made to make fun of the the idea of making huge sweeping hypotheses about fanbases based off solely how many of them you see on the internet.

I took the list from the team threads. You were under the MS list but I'm sure you could consider some from the sony camp to be MS fans too. Its a very tough thing to determine because you would need a response from EVERY member and you would need to analyze all their posts. However, I have demonstrated that it isn't as lopsided as most people think.

A lot of them are multi user.  For example im on every list.  As far as people being vocal i cant think of many Xbox users.  Sony i can think of a few and same goes to nintendo.  It isnt that big of a deal but the trolling in MSFT threads are a little aggravating.  Sony/nintendo has trolling in threads too but i dont notice it as much.  I rarely have to defend Sony/Nintendo but MSFT i constantly have to stick up for them or else you will have 20 comments bashing on them

I mainly game on Xbox and sometimes on others but I don't "hate" other consoles I just don't talk about it. What sad on these forums is that some people seem unable to not spread their hate towards anything MS/Xbox. Why do they feel the need to bash constantly is beyond me, part of why I asked what happened to forums... the Xbox section is a sad place to be it's like you can talk about something but expect the usual suspects to make sure your thread will turn into a hate circus.

Why is it that anything MS is considered bad?
Anything Kinect will be laughed at? Some like Kinect games and functionalities, can't they talk about it without having an onslaught of people coming in and spreaying their disgust?
Are all MS exclusives that bad? Why is it that it's almost impossible to have MS exclusives discussions without having the same people saying how other exclusives are sooooo better?
Do non Xbox owners know that rrod is in the past and MS addressed that issue correctly?
Are we (yes I pay for Xbox Live and will continue to do so until they keep providing what I like about them) all idiots for paying a service we like?
Is it bad to play multiplatform games? Are true-console-exclusive-sony-only games the only games that are beautiful and worth playing?

This here has always been my feelings on the issue. No fan-base is worse than another and it's one of the most redundant annoyances on the internet.
