I don't mean to turn this into a big deal, and this is the last I'm going to post about it, but you're wrong about this.  The studio names are just for promotional and organizational purposes.  Unless you're saying that the different studios that work on Microsoft computer software aren't really Microsoft, either?

Not that this discussion has ANYTHING to do with Sony or Nintendo... Who is claiming that Sony/Microsoft "aren't developers" and only "publish" games. Uhmm you should probably read up on acquisitions before posting nonsense lol. Nintendo is the only company that "develops" games because they never BOUGHT a single studio like EVERY OTHER COMPANY did lol... It's pretty much the most common practice for coporations to BUYOUT competitors or other companies, then bring them under their umbrella.

 

There is literally NO destinction between a developer or ANY company being acquired, and nintendo developing "in house"  because they never had the money to buy to throw around. You're creating something in your own mind lol. A reason to "buy nintendo games" because you don't think company acquisitions are a viable method of developing/publishing games. You don't know what you're talking about.

If you read my first post again, you'll see what I'm talking about. MS is not the sole victim here. This has been and still is my case.
I was getting upset because the thread appeared to be victimizing, but my perspective is different. I also said "not your fault, you simply have a different opinion".

But perhaps I also misread your followup which was "most of you aren't getting it". However, I am one of those people who called Rare a bad company, and again, I defend that I've been a Rare fan since the beginning, and I don't see how calling Rare's ability into question trolling.

I get that it happens on all sides.  I think its pretty clear cut though that the MS threads get far more negativity in general.  Thats fine that you dont like Rare I never said it was wrong for you not to.

Oh, well, ok then. That's all I wanted to know. And yes, I did get defensive. Guilty as charged. 

But yes, I think had the thread been "the negativity is getting out of hand", and an excerpt been "specifically, at least from my standpoint, MS does indeed seem to bear the brunt of the trolling", I don't think you'd have encountered so much dissonance.

I could go on for days.  A little criticism is fine as not everyone will like Xbox or it's games but it makes any sort of MS discussion nearly impossible in these forums.  People wonder why since the day this website started MS has always had a very small presence here and part of it is the constant endless downplaying of nearly everything Xbox related. 

from what i seen xbox fans are the coolest of all three, they don't really post much on message boards cause they rather play there multi player games online, they really don't argure about graphics much,  They are just not very active on the internet cause they rather game, and i condider that a good thing.

The overall negativity on the entire forum has increased sharply. This is not unexpected with one console just having launched and the two bitter rivals about to launch theirs.
Shitting on MS thread might be a way of saying "MS ain't got shit for the 8th gen" or something to that effect.

Sony has just a insane amount of nerds among their fans, Sonyfans  spend the mainly parts of their lives in nerd forums like neogaf or here and have no real live, bashing other consoes is their purpose in life.

So just let them their only fun they in live and ignore them.

The ones I added for the 360 list were from memory. I went back and made sure they were still active. People like seece were not so I didn't add them. Give me more time and I bet the list would be longer. I deleted non active users for the Sony list... I still need to go through the MS list and give it the same treatment but I'm kinda tired of going through...
