Don't forget the elf who eats babies, or the little snot who throws his sister under the bus so often that she becomes a vessel for the dark gods.

Drakengard sucked. Drakengard 2 was just okay. Nier was enjoyable though (bonus points for the soundtrack).

Of course, I'm guessing this game builds off Drakengard 2, and not Nier.

I actually enjoyed Drakengard 1 and 2. The storyline/characters/dark atmosphere was great.

I didn't like the gameplay much, especially in the first one, and I kind of hated everyone but the dragon. I never earned the Nier ending, but it made me happy to learn that the entire world died in a horrific invasion of giant cannibal babies...

Mmmm....good times....

Lol yeah, well at least it had a "unique" vibe to it muahaha.

It's been YEARS since I last played them but the story and characters are pretty "interesting" lol. It has a mature vibe about it, darker. The first one for sure. Ever played Nier? Same people made Drakengard.

Sick!

Drakengard was one of my favorite PS2 games, maybe even my favorite Japanese RPG-esk game on PS2. Never beat Drakengard 2, but I'm looking for a copy all the time.

Just started playing Nier too, guess I'll have to bump up Drakengard 2 on my TDL. Who needs a PS4? I hope this also releases on Wii U.
