Tomb Raider is the best game since Skyrim. Yes, that means it's better than Borderlands 2 :0

EDIT: It's also better than Halo 4 too



My prediction threads:

Wii U will sell under 40m units (made on 14th September 2012)

PS Vita will sell under 20m units (made on 30th September 2012)

Wii U will sell under 7m in 2013 - I was right

only in a town but tomb raider was sold out in one of the few surviving blockies and a big asda,it must be doing something right or small ship,i'm going to wait for a price drop I think as I am skinteroo,people seem to like the game which is good for word of mouth

i'll pick up NFS most wanted next as its £20 now

Previous record holder was Angel of darkness? I fell in that trap too back in the day.

I won't be playing this one for a while. I just finished FC3, it feels far too similar in game play. Maybe I'll bite when the game is cheap with hefty tombs exploration dlc.

Agreed.  And the graphics are sooooo good.  I don't expect God of War or Gears of War to top it.

I wonder which version will be top WW 360 or PS3. Historically a famous PS game, but now in UK 360 version outsells PS3.

Ok, but this is shipped, right? I mean 1 million here on VGC

Also, the game was already sold to costumers on the previous week to launch. I got the game the Friday before release, so two days after release means 1 week really Expect to have a huge drop on the official week 2.

It's still selling better than expected and I hope it gets nice legs, because it's truly a great game.


Ah ok. My mistake. As for it being shipped, I don't think so. Based on what the guys as CD said, I can infer that it is sold. For one they were extremely happy and surprised with the figures and they said over 1M players accessed the game in less than 2 days, so based on that I'm inclined to think it is not shipped.

How many people do you think got it early as opposed to other who got it on time? A few of my friends got it on time, but I'm unaware about the proportion of early to on time.

Yes it is better than I expected as well. I'm glad it is doing well.
