Teh best selling/highest rated Assassin's Creed came out in 2009, so clearly it wasn't a big deal back then.

Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m
Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

And even without that, Sony would announce the game on PS+, thats the PS+ bad side, that kills the sales

Multi-plat with what, exactly? iOS? Because Wikipedia tells me that it released a year after the DS versions (there were two on DS, btw)
Also, I'm not sure where you're getting this more popular stuff from. More popular, yes, but the very first Assassin's Creed still sold 9.5 million on PS3 + Xbox. The popularity is still there, but 3DS isn't as strong in the west as DS was, so again, expecting 1 million is absurd.

Ask yourself one question. Is 3DS really capable of giving a true AC experience? I think not. Just one slider would hurt the experience greatly as it would limit the freedom of movement, which is the heart of the game. And let's not forget the fact that the console isn't all that powerful and the graphics would have to be really very bad in order to give us a big open world and a city that seems to be real and alive. I think that Vita sits at the bare minimum that is required for a real AC game. AC on 3DS would have to be a totally different game, just like AC on DS, and I really don't care about such games and I doubt you do as well. I want the real deal on a Vita, not a random platformer with an AC sticker for the 3DS.
Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

I like how you dont ANSWER my question but instead ask me to answer? Well watever, anyway, RE sold 700k which means Lifetime should be no more than 800k. AC is much more of a name than RE and RE revelation came out beginning of 2012 and now 3DS has a user base of almost 30mil compare to its 15mil (release at the time of RE). So AC should sell over RE which means at least 800k and do more cuz it'll have a huge install base by years end (all the 3ds games coming this year). Now let me hear your excuse? remember i said only if it was an exclusive.

nothing against it, but you never kno! Look at Resident Evil revelations, some say its better than RE6 right? Jus saying, also imo Vita do much better, never going to deny it, but to say 3DS wont do well is stupid since we dont kno wat direction it can take it. RE revelation got 700k in a year, so yes an exclusive AC can do better imo
