No nightmare predictions about Sony and MS, sorry to say, I only remember the Nintendo conference!


I feel you..I remember yesterday someone on the forums here mentioned Sunshine 2 for Wii U maybe you were online at that time and it simply got stuck in your head and you didnt even know lol

that game was a mess for me. it had its moments but overall sucked.

Factor 5 is dead, and I don't know if Disney would allow that game to exist. Retro Studios would be a good contender for showing off the Wii U graphical capabilities, unless they are working on something like Donkey Kong.

I know that, the point I was making was that the GC was arguably the most powerful system of its gen right out of the gate and featured games that blew just about everything else at the time away save for maybe Halo, unlike the Wii U which for 2 generations now seems just slightly better than current gen hardware in the visuals department.  The Wii U is no GCN.

Sunshine 2 would be about the one thing that I think would kill Nintendo's E3. It would be a disaster from a sales perspective. Nintendo needs 3D Mario to be fresh and mind-blowing. It needs to sound like the greatest thing ever, not Mario on vacation. Super Mario Universe would do it perfectly. That said, I never played Mario Sunshine so a Mario Sunshine HD release on WiiU would please me. Give me F-Zero GXHD and I wll be very pleased.

Sunshine was awesome. I liked how it was so much less linear than the Galaxy games. The difficulty level was also refreshing. Galaxy was too easy in comparison.

The GC is my least favorite Nintendo Home System but it did 2 amazing things IMO:

1) Introduced Animal Crossing (outside of Japan)

2) Introduced Pikmin

Both amazing franchises!
