Forums - Nintendo - 64GB Wii U?

Wonder how the people who own the basic Wii U cope. 8gb is petty. That day one update is massive.

Premium is paying for a proprietary built in hard drive priced significantly above market price.

I honestly think people complaining about Wii U storage are missing the point or attempting to participate in childish point scoring.

I just feel like 64GB is making us look like fools.   If they care about gamers they would come up with one with atleast 250GB.

12gb.. they should follow sony like they always do.. 12gb

Face the future.. Gamecenter ID: nikkom_nl (oh no he didn't!!)

Only 64? :/

shush shush.... we are at a point were 32 GB is considered premium.

Considering that the diskless 360 only has 4GB flash memory and the diskless PS3 has 12GB, is 32 really that bad?  If you want more, just hook an external drive up.  We have 4 external drives in my house, so, I didn't even have to buy one.  If it had been built into the Wii U, the cost would have been higher, so I saved money this way.

yes they are, if they had the 8 BG memory system and a 160 GB memory system then i wouldnt say its bad, the 4GB (even though its really low) and the 12 GB system are on models to reduce price. the models with more memory from xbox hav 250GB and 500GB for ps3, A LOT more than the measly 32GB the "premium" WiiU model offers

32 is enough for a Nintendo console and 64 would already be generous, but I can see them releasing a 64GB bundle in the future. I haven't used the full 60GB of my launch PS3 either (and that's including a lot of Oblivion and Skyrim saves which are 10+MB a piece and a ton of Guitar Hero DLC), or even the 512MB that's in the Wii. I managed to barely fill up the 1GB that was in the 3DS, but then I swapped it for 16GB which I'm never going to use fully within my lifetime.

People who want to have a million digital things should just use an external drive. I don't want to pay for your needs of space, I don't use it. And neither does the majority of (Nintendo) users.

Can anyone teach me or tell me how to expand my WII U memory? Which external drive do I haVE TO BUY AND HOW MUCH THeY COST?

Switch!!!

If anything, Nintendo should get rid of the 32gb model.
Buy and external HDD if you want to download shit.
