On another note, I talked my room mate into getting a 3DS just because of Animal Crossing. :) So far my roommate, my bf, one of my best friends and I will be getting that Day 1.

Anybody think it has potential to become the highest selling 3DS game? It already is in Japan. :D



What lifetime? Well most selling this year it'll end up either #2 or #3. It'll battle out MH4 for 2nd but #1 will be pokemon X/Y. No game will beat it, except GTA5 if you count all systems together! Pokemon X/Y should at least sell 9mil this year imo

How did I manage to forget about Pokemon? I guess I have gone into "way too hyped mode." lol

I agree that it might have difficulty beating Monster Hunter this year...but I feel like lifetime, it can easily beat out Monster Hunter 4. I do have to say though that I am impressed it's still in the top 10 WW after being out for in 1 territory for almost 4 months.



Animal crossing is huge! Dont forget even though the website has it around 2.75mil, with digitals its over 3mil! It'll surpass Animal crossing WW imo. I say 12mil lifetime, maybe more with major dlc! Overall it'll be definitely be top 10 of all time (3ds). Top 5 is kinda out of reach now! Pokemon x/y, pokemon (gen7) in another 4 or 5 years, SM3DL, NSMB2, and MK7 will be top 5 lifetime sales!
