nope, it takes way too much battery life, rather keep the wifi for street pass on. ANd honestly the 3d just isnt impressive to me, havent found a game that blows me away yet

For battery life, well before you put it in Sleep Mode, you will want to turn e Brightness all the way down & Power Save Mide ON & 3D OFF & Volume all the way down......and then when you open your 3D to play you turn everything the other way around......I play up to 4 hours on the go with the 3D ON & Brightness at 5 & Power Save Mode OFF & volume UP, and I always have the Wireless ON 24/7 for Wireless.

Plus all the 3DS games release in 2012 & up have an outstanding 3D effect if you have the Depth Slider all the way up, but Crimson Shroud has a bad 3D effect.

4 hours...isnt really that impressive. but better than i would have gotten otherwise. Ill have to take your word, for 2012 games, havent bought a 3ds game in a WHILE, that'll change with Luigi mansion

Luigi Mansion has great 3D with NO ghost effect despite having dark backgrounds.

I have seen the E3 2012 60 fps 3D trailer that I had downloaded from the eShop, and it easily has more better 3D then the first 2 downloaded trailers for this game.

Pretty much never. It's a shame because I really want to like the 3D but I just can't. Still love the 3DS though, and am glad others like it guess, I just don't care for the feature.

Try 3D games release in 2012 & up.

I'll list some:

Dillon's Rolling Western

Resident Evil Revelations (go to options and change depth to Very Strong)

Sonic Racing Transformed 3DS

Kid Icarus Uprising

Ketzal's Corridors

Crashmo

Colors! 3D (App)

Fire Emblem Awakening

Liberation Maiden

Kingdom Hearts 3D

Star Fox 64 3D

Castlevania Mirror of Fate

New Super Mario bros. 2

Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D

Mutant Mudds

Dillon's Rolling Western the Last Ranger

Luigi's Mansion Dark Moon

And make sure to have the 3D depth slider more then 90% up.

Tried it in Resident Evil, Kid Icarus, and Kingdom Hearts and I just don't like it sadly :p. I'll try it in Fire Emblem when I pick that up.

Fire Emblem is weak in the CGI cinematics on the regular size 3DS, but everything else is good, especially the 3D Polygon parts of the game, also the smoke & snow look good in 3D.

I always played 3D all the way up. Before my eyes were getting tired after a long session on play, but not anymore. Now if my eyes gets tired, the 3D has nothing to do with it, it's because I've been looking at a small screen for 3or4hours straight.

What?! I can't hear you over all this awsome! - Pyrrhon (Kid Icarus:Uprising)

Final Ultimate Legendary Earth Power Super Max Justice Future Miracle Dream Beautiful Galaxy Big Bang Little Bang Sunrise Starlight Infinite Fabulous Totally Final Wonderful Arrow...FIRE! - Wonder-Red (The Wonderful101)

So why not?

because i dont like 3d

I play with the 3D on most of the time, usually about 80-90% of the way, pretty rare for me to max it out though. Depending on the game, it can still strain my eyes a bit.

Hmm

To the max all the time. My eyes never hurt and my vision is fine

Sometimes, depends on the games. Some of them got crappy 3d, and some of them hurt my eyes. Most just makes the game better (like super mario 3d land)

Actually all of the 3DS games release in 2012 & up have a great 3D, excluding 1 game; Crimson Shroud.

Well, the crappy 3d I was talking about is like in mighty switch force. It makes no ifference what so ever, so I don't use it then, since it drains the battery and I have to keep the 3ds still. The place where it hurt my eyes I think was playing oot 3d, in a battle scene somewhere. Other than that, I use it all the time.

Almost always

I believe both of those games where release in 2011.

Hopefully Mighty Switch Force 2 will have useful 3D for you. Zelda OoT 3D does have the worse ghost effect, so maybe it's related for you case in this game. I see what you mean in Mighty Switch Force 1. For me, I like the 3D on everything and didn't mind the ghost in Zelda OoT  when having 3D at 100% for Ocarina.

Thanks for confirming what I said about 2012 & up, LOL.

always, but on the lower setting side, it's pretty awesome.
