While I do not beleive the PS4 will have the significant drop as the Wii U did (again as long as the support is there) I believe Nintendo sort of did that on purpose as for the game availability so that they could have a strong lineup to compete with PS4/NextBox this fall (although they obviously did not expect sales to plummet the way they did).

Price seems ok, I think the will take a hit on the $429 model and drop it to $399, then clean up with the premium at $499. The only thing that will change between the 2 units are the HDD and the price for an HDD will be the same no matter the space for Sony. So between the premium model and must have software they will get some money back.
But the 17th is a freaking Sunday, so I really doubth LOT source.

It's better if they do the bare bones version at 399, no game just a demo disc.
Keep the premium at 529 with game and digital download voucher included plus 3 months ps+.

They should launch earlier and $30 cheaper for both. Sales will be significantly more launching in October at $399.
