While I do not beleive the PS4 will have the significant drop as the Wii U did (again as long as the support is there) I believe Nintendo sort of did that on purpose as for the game availability so that they could have a strong lineup to compete with PS4/NextBox this fall (although they obviously did not expect sales to plummet the way they did).
