Sony fans remember this quote “The next gen doesn’t start until we say it does”, well boys and girls they mean business this time… unless you’ve been living under a rock, you should already know that the PlayStation 4 has been announced and its KICK ASS!!!! But the big question around the biz is how much and when, well LOT has your answer, Sony will be releasing  two models. The base model will retail for $429, and the premium is slated for $529.

The Spec differences like Hard Drive space and such is still unclear but the pricing and release date is a fact. How did we get this information you asked… A little bird told us. Anyway, Considering the hardware specs, those price points are actually very reasonable if you ask us. The system will be released November 17 2013 (United States), and the entire staff is counting the seconds. I'm not sure how to vote. It's too much for me, but at the same time it's just about what I was expecting...

sony did not Confirm any price yet

i promise you, sony themselves isn't even quite certain what they will be charging. they'll wait until after MS announces to determine how aggressive their pricing model needs to be.

DAMN! i was hoping Sony would launch the PS4 in october

i guess i should just take this grain of salt with me though..

Edit: they REALLY need to hit $399! The 1st number that needs to be heard is a fucking "three" when they announce this PS4 price

$529 may be too expensive, but $429 is pretty good I guess.

Nov 17th in America at least seems probable too.

Ahh I'll buy it at a high price.

Price points dont seem to high considering we've seen what the machine can do and what it packs.

That's still way too expensive. It's not going to sell at all for those prices.
