Honestly, anything under 400 is really impressive (even if it means bare bones model with small HDD).

I cannot see them selling this for less then $499 unless willing to take major losses.

that's right in my price range. Anything more then that,then no.

At this point it is all speculation -- besides i doubt SONY has anything except expected manufacturing / shipping costs + a range of possible price points at the moment.

As for the release date, SONY may have November targeted but it will be a few months before they nail down an exact date to announce ( Since they will need to sort out when to start mass production).

They should have a barebones model (like 12gb) for $399.  As long as you can install your own HDD like PS3 it wouldn't be a problem.  Then have a $499 model with a bigger HDD (500gb), KZ, and a headset (if it's not in the lower SKU).

A remote play bundle with Vita, for $599 would be dope.
