For years people have been saying Smartphones and Tablets will kill Consoles, well i allways said that would be impossible because Console would actually evolve for something that isnt playing games, have better innovation and ideas, Kinect was a Start but we need more something companies arent giving us anymore... Nintendo doesnt care, Sony Ps4 is all about Graphics something 99% of Gamers dont care and 720 looks like it will be Kinect revamped so basically the same.
Sony did show a great HW machine but that wont help them, Ps4 will do better than Vita but dont expect much, Wii U like sales seems likely. Where is the innovation that get people excited, where are the new IPS that get people excited ?? Killzone doesnt look better than Crysis 3 on a Ultra high End Pc, it looks inferior actually, Watch Dogs was running on a Pc. what impressed most was Square Enix engine and Capcom Game... Sony didnt learn anything from Vita ? you guys are excited because the power of the Console just like you were with Vita, just expect until you see the price and the awfull sales wich will happen.
Wii U - WTF is this ? Looks like a Ps360 with a innovative Controller but where are the games ? Where ? Why should anyone buy it over Ps3 or 360 ? Serious Nintendo?
Microsoft Durango - We didnt see anything but from what i know wtf is this aswell ?? More Graphics and RAM ? Kinect again ??? Xbox Live just like Psn on Ps4 will be a revamp with nothing really new ?? I can already share wth facebook, see stream of games, talk with people, tons of uselss apps. Consoles need to evolve, Kinect was a good idea but is that all Microsoft ?? Kinect 2.0 and better GRAPHICS AND MORE GENERIC FPS LIKE KILLZONE SHADOWFALL OR GEARS OF WAR ?
Serious this Gen will be a dead-end, if you think Wii U sales are bad just expect to see Ps4 fiasco, 720 will do better because price will be lower and America will be all over it.
The only company that get it right was Nintendo with 3DS, great catalog with great ideas.
Next Gen will be a disaster, if Microsoft doesnt do something amazing and im not talking about stupid graphics, some innovation, something people will scream about like Wii in 2006.
This Gen hasnt started, Wii U was the first signal of a thing that is dying to Pcs, Tablets and SmartPhones, This industry is not evolving, its relying on Call of Duty Like Games, evolution is absent, when that happens means things will die.
Unless something changes this will be the last gen of Home Consoles.
Keep going Sony with your Graphics, you dont realize 99% of consumers dont care about that, same for you Microsoft. Get your shit right, this gen will be funny, sales will be abysmal.
