If the PS4 cpu is underpowered what the hell does that make the WiiU and 720?, Rediculous talk man.

I know it is not necessary but even if it wasn't PAE is implemented since "ever" in CPUs. |
PAE has performance problems and the 4GB per process limit. I'm glad that PAE is not necessary at the consumer level.

WiiU? Less power than PS4, certainly. 720? Based on current rumors equal to PS4.
As you compare the PS4-CPU to the competitors you can also compare the CPU to other x86-CPUs and then it is underpowered.

The rumors say that PS4 and 720 will have very similar CPUs, almost the same, so if PS4 cpu is underpowered, the 720 will be the same underpowered.

I know, thanks anyway.

Compared to PC standards - it is. If I'm not terribly wrong and those specs are accurate, one core of 3960X at its stock clock has more MIPS than whole PS4 CPU.
However, question is to what extent it matters - I'm eagerly awaiting to see if Sony and MS pushed AMD to make them fully HSA capable APUs, with context switching and unified address space. If they did, I don't think it will matter that much, though better CPU certainly wouldn't hurt.
Anyone with greater knowledge, please chime in...

why? It's not DDR5 (which isn't specified) nor DDR4, ist GDDR5.

Because it's somewhere around 150$?

That's Sonys problem resulting in an expensive console.
