Forums - Sony - The ACTUAL Controller

I think it looks fine. But That touch pad looks rather awkward to use as the thumb sticks seem to be in the way. Do you life you hand over the sticks? Do you move your index finger? Not sure how it will work.

I thought it was going to be a little screen. But it would have been so small a screen to only be annoying.

I thought the other specs were rather impressive.

Really not sure I see any point of Consol over PC's since Kinect, Wii and other alternative ways to play have been abandoned.

Tell me a funny joke!

The new dual shock is beautiful... I liked the design.

It is a pretty good evolution of the controller. I like it.

Tease.

looks nice. wonder how it feels.

Very impressed by Sony. I am so glad there is a company that truly attempts to feed us beautiful gadgets that become hard to resist. When you consider the design, innovation, research cost, high quality screens and build- you can justify the price. It's just unfortunate these premiums aren't affordable to many(Work hard!). Although, Sony's other branches (Laptops and TV's) have very poor pricing scheme. (appears to be improving)

I like the concave joysticks, but they are still too close together. I'll have to hold it in my hand to really judge it though. The "trigger's still aren't triggers and I think that's a mistake. I'll never use the "share button" I honestly don't see the point such a feature. I like that the touch pad is small so it will be a rarely used optional thing. The overall shape of the controller looks rounder which I like, but again I'll have to hold it in my hand to see if it even comes close the ergonomics of the Xbox 360 controller.

How are these not triggers? Care to explain. I'm comparing my 360 controller to the side view of the DS4 and it looks pretty similar.

I wasn't too keen on the leaked pictures we saw, but the actual version does look a lot better. It is odd, but to me it's a good odd.

Though, I'm seriously so tired of black. I'd really like to see some new colors available at launch, not just for the controllers but for the console too. Though, we'd have to actually see the console first haha.

Of all the guns I've shot, and I've fired a lot of different guns, I've never pulled a trigger as wide as any of the L and R buttons on any of the PS controlers including the DS4. The Dreamcast, Xbox and 360 all have trigger shaped triggers. By what deffinition are you using to describe the DS4's L and R buttons?

It looks better than the prototype controller on the net the other day but jeez.... It somehow looks smaller. I already find the ps3 controller to small for my hands till I get used to it after a hour so of play. I want to aim hard left and strafe hard right without the thumb sticks and/or my hands touching.
