I'd actually prefer if the Xbox was more powerful and more expensive.

Sony would be better positioned.

But I guess Sony will overdo in power again, from what we hear from rumors, and Xbox won't top it.

So how does this compare to PS3, 360 and Wii U?

Well, if PC Pezus is impressed that is good because I do not speak this computer lingo.
Rumors are seemingly true so far so I am counting on the $400 dollar price tag to be true as well.

I have a feeling they'll be a virtual tie in specs, while both being rather developer friendly.

Seems like more than 10x powerful than PS3.

- CPU: x86_64 is better for games than any POWER PC
- GPU: 8x better than 360
- RAM: 16x better and 8x faster

yes it is, since its CAV it will be much cheaper than a CLV option the PS3 used. so good in one case but not good as another CLV would of course be better. but still this is not a bad optical drive. 6x speed and transfer speed. will be fast enough.

Not to mention that gddr5 is much faster.
