Poffertjes! Yeah i would consider it fastfood but they aint common any more.. Its hard to find a "poffertjes kraam" where they sell it fresh.. Nowadys you just get them from the supermarket and make them yourself..

There was another one, but the name escapes me right now.

It's a batter type mixture that gets fried on a flat hotplate. It's like a really firm pattie of batter when cooked...

The US has more fast food chains than you can shake a stick at, unsurprisingly. Chik-fil-a is heavenly. We have one in North Carolina named Smithfields which sells pulled pork (we called it BBQ pork) and fried chicken, really good stuff. Pizza restaurants and Asian restaurants have exploded, they're all over the place. When it comes to straight fastfoot burgers, though, I probably like Wendy's the best, but I don't know if that's anywhere else in the world.

The coastal city I live near once led the US in restaurants per capita, since it's a tourist place, so we have a ton.

Edit:  Oh, yeah, I forgot a difference I was going to point out.  A lot of fast foot chains around here will have a 'Carolina Classic' sandwich of some kind as a regional offering.  That's because BBQ sauce in much of the Carolinas is mustard/vinegar based instead being made from ketchup or molassas.  It's tangy and spicey, usually, with a golden brown color.

Fast food/junk food is full of fat and sugar and should be minimised or eliminated from your diet if you care about your health and well being.

I miss that most from The Netherlands.
Here they put plain vinegar on fries, just not right.

There's talk about Wendys opening up here. The problem is, we already have a franchise named Wendys. They sell soft serve ice creams and hot dogs, so there may be some hurdles to jump over.

Louis CK has convinced me to try and get a Cinnabon from somewhere, just to try it. Apparently, tthat's another rumoured place to open here...

It's all about moderation. I actually haven't been to a fast food restaurant in about 6 months, but once in awhile (very rare) I might decide to try some.

It's more about looking for something different as opposed to eating the same stuff over and over.

Looks good. What does the sauce consist of?

It's just the standard Mayonaisse or Mayo, not the fake healthy kind but the real oil + egg yolk + vinegar base.

Another favorite, frikandel speciaal met patatje sate saus.

deep fried minced meat hot dog, cut open with mayonaise, ketchup and onions, plus fries with a spicy peanut butter based saus.

in the Philippines and other countries in asia... they sell rice in McDonalds, KFC, etc etc...
also in the Philippines instead of lemonade they have pineapple juice...

mcdonals also have spaghetti...

they use the gravy on fried chicken in all the fast food... lots of them

all the servings are Super SMALL...

Nice! Is the rice a side dish, like fries?

Is there a reason why Lemonade isn't around, or is it just that pineapple juice is more popular?

lemonade is not popular in the philippines... they usually have pineapple juice and/or lemonade.....  i dont think they even grow lemons there
