Wasn't Burger King part of that group, or is that when they consolidated into that Yum Foods conglomerate?

Damn that looks (and sounds) delicious!
I have a friend who's Dutch. He makes a lot of Poffertjes. I often wondered if they were a considered a fast food there as well.

This is something that Australia needs to adopt IMMEDIATELY!
I loved the thought of the Americans being able to get beer from service stations and supermarkets. Only licensed liquor stores and restaurants (non fast-food) are allowed to serve alcohol here.
here in germany i think burger king is pretty much the same as in usa (but don't really know) but mcdonalds is selling a lot of stuff only for the german market, most of that often only for some weeks/months. burgers with "nürnberger würstchen" as example. that are small sausages.
or right now we have that here:

i believe bruger king had pepsi here but changed to coke few years ago. not sure how that is in other countries. mcdonalds has coke.
many of the mcdonalds here in germany are "McCafe" where they sell cake and different cafes. not sure if that is common in many other countries.

Poffertjes! Yeah i would consider it fastfood but they aint common any more.. Its hard to find a "poffertjes kraam" where they sell it fresh.. Nowadys you just get them from the supermarket and make them yourself..

I wonder if the McDonalds corporation has any influence on its francisors. I'd love to see something from a different country in the McDonalds each week, like some kind of international menu rotation.
