Is it even a legit website or is it just some dude's blog that desperately wants to be a legit website?


lol you must've never owned a PS console to not know who PlayStationLifeStyle is! They are legit alright, Metacritics counts their reviews in gamescores even.

I own nearly every Playstation console/handheld. I just stick to multiplatform websites. I haven't frequented a fanboy website like Playstation Lifestyle since the Dreamcast days.

I would not consider Metacritic as a legitimize of websites. Quarter to Three is just plain terrible and it's reviews get ranked. Metacritic sweeps with a broad broom and trash gets caught in its bristles more often than not. I'm not saying Playstation Lifestyle is trash, I'm just saying that Metacritic is not the authority on trustworthy reviewers.

BTW, I read the review and it doesn't match up with the demo I played. I'm calling shenanigans on the review. The game is not an unplayable 3/10. It may not be better than a 7 or 8 or even a 6, but a 3 it is not.

Because developers these days only care about the metacritic score. If they get all the reviews on their they MAY listen to the faults and improve on them.

Maybe the demo only highlights the best this game has to offer.

they review the game like a Metal Gear Solid game but Rising: Revengeanceit's not mgs game it not even the same type of games that why it got 3



PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

I love the Metal Gear Franchise and i won't be buying this

...that said, giving a game a low score because it is different from the main franchise is just childish and unprofessional.

And considering that Eurogamer awarded it a 9/10 i would say, it should be a great buy for fans of the genre.

for me the review sounds like he just doesn't like that it has the metal gear name and would review it better with another name and that he gave it an even worse score because we got the game even when kojima cancelled it.

so, it reads as if the score is based on a lot of things which have nothing to do with the game itself.

There's a distinction between 'fan' and 'fanboy', careful! Playstation Lifestyle is generally a decent resource for information; they seem to take their journalism and integrity more seriously than most sites.

I haven't played Revengeance though, so I can't comment on the accuracy of the review.
