Yahh your not the problem, you have already deralied this thread with your BS.

Sure Nin fanboys are not the problem, with their ignorant refusal to acknowledge that Nins games are oriented for a younger crowd.  Or how somehow magicly Wii has a more diversy game portfolio then PS3 lol.

Nin fanboys get all bent out of shape if any one says that their games are child oriendted or that Nin does not make games for a more mature audience.  Simplly they wont or cant accept reality.

Just mention a game looks like its for kids or that its mediocre compared to the competition they go nuts.

exactly what i was talking about.  anyways, this is it.  i'm leaving the forum until there are better discussions.

Currently loving my Wii x2, Xbox 360 Pro & Xbox 360 Arcade, and Final Fantasy 7 Advent Children Limited "Cloud Black" 160GB PS3

GAMEFLY & GOOZEX FTW

*sigh*  I'm tempted to second that, Delusional. ;_;

Nobody is crazy enough to accuse me of being sane.

I would send an email to mods@vgchartz.com to explain the situation before you leave.

no need to leave the forum. Every post Hus makes is just saying "Nindendo is kiddy, Nintendo fanboys are stupid". Just think of it kind of like background radiation. We all just chat here and he's kind of in the background saying the same stuff over and over again and not actually contributing anything. All you have to do is look for the SONY logo and *blip* skip right over his post and suddenly it's all better again. He makes it easy by having a bright blue glowing avatar that is very noticable.

Everyone else here has something worthwhile to say so don't let one troll get you down.

Help! I'm stuck in a forum signature!

i think part of the reason the quality of posts has gone down--which is something i've noticed too--is simply that there isn't much dramatic development in the last few months, or the next few months.  the wii will continue to stay #1, 360 and ps3 will duke it out at #2, and the DS will just keep dominating the PSP.  not much left to be said, except for repeating different versions "wii is a fad" or "ps3 will dominate once the great games come out" and people giving their reasons for disagreeing.

secondly, there isn't nearly enough discussion of actual gameplay experience.  many of us are here because we're interested in sales, but for whatever reason discussions on games themselves are sparse.

i visited a english premier league football team forum once and there they had a "serious discussion only" forum.  now that site had like 100,000+ members, so you can do that; but even for the casual rooms, the mods actually tell people where to look things up if something has already been discussed to death (like player transfer rumors).  maybe we need mods to do more than just being moderators, but actually take an active role in thread management.

that might be hard to do with the current organization of threads.  for instance there is no search capability for the threads.  in any other forums, if i have a question or something i want to discuss, the first thing i do is do a search and see if somebody's already talked about it.  it's inconvenient here, and you end up with identical threads sometimes, and not even mods can easily tell if it's a repeat.

ideas?

the Wii is an epidemic.

 search yep!!

war room forum to argue argue and argue (for flame wars)

Sales, business, serios talk only - anything else send to the trash forum.

I think the problem is that everyone is free to say whatever they want, flamebait, insults, thread after thread after thread of this crap, and no action is taken against them.

Put simply, moderators need to actually moderate.  I haven't seen a thread get closed, a post get edited, a member get banned, or even a public warning been given since what's his name PS360XBOXwhatever went on a tirade and just started posting nothing but profanity.  If that's what it takes for a moderator to take action, people are going to continue pushing the limits the way they are now.

I wasn't blaming or shoepinning any particular person, I just want everyone to try and get along and rather than saying 'nintendo boys get bent outta shape when you say nintendo is kiddy' is just flame baiting even further.

I don't want anyone in particular to change, but rather try and be civilized about the discussions and keep saying 'your point doesn't count because you're a fanboy' out of the equation. If you don't agree with what someone says use FACT and evidence to back it up, don't just say 'nintendo is kiddy' without expecting someone to fight back at that and try and proove you wrong.

This thread has gone way off target already, hopefully ioi will see / say something soon.

I'm surprised so many people feel the same way actually.

EDIT - PS: Sorry Sasuke is the best, he kicks all arse (after Sasuke is Rock Lee :))

I think you found the reason for this issue. I've noticed too that the quality of the discussions is going down, but that is mainly because there is nothing which would need a serious discussion at the moment, we have to wait for the autumn sales to get new interesting discussions.

And I think the mods are doing a great job. I know a german forum where the mods are closing every second thread because there exists another one. But i don't think that it is an issue to have another thread with the same topic. If we already have discussed it entirely, the new thread will die soon and if not, he has a right to exist anyway.
